Has the amount of founder deposit been specified?

The General Co-oparative Law does not specify the amount of founder deposite. It is specified by an internal co-operative agreement.

How many persons can form a co-operative?
A co-opearative can be formed by at least five persons (physical or legislative).

Can a co-operative function without a menager?
A co-operative can function without a menager if it decides so.

When was the first co-operative formed in Bosnia and Herzegovina?
The first co-operative in Bosnia and Herzegovina was formed on October 16, 1904 in Tolisa near Orasje.

How many co-operatives exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina? How many in BH Federation? How many in the Republic of Srpska?
It is estimated that there are more than 550 co-operatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, around 200 in the Federation and 350 in the Republic of Srpska.

How to become a member of an Entity Union?
One becomes a member of Entity Union by depositing 100 BAM, giving the entering declaration, signing the Contract on joining the Entity Union by authorised person based on the decision of co-operative body in charge.
